VCB proxy

Now VDR is here, does vSphere still have VCB as part of it's product line up too? Can you still use a Windows VCB proxy like with VI3?

Please take a look at Dave's response: http://communities.vmware.com/message/1233686#1233686

Looks like VCB will be in fact still available in vSphere release.

Hi

the VDR and the old VCB are two different products aimed for different type of custmers..the VDR is aimed to 100 vm's backup (small shops), while the VCB is meant toward large shops that want to centrelize the VM backup using their entrprise backup software (source de-dupe, centrelized reports etc')
