Where is the hostd.log file?

Based on some issues I am having and reading other threads I want to check this log file, but I do not see it at /var/log/. I am not a Linux guy and the 1st 20 threads I searched on didn't give the location, just the contents.....

Quick help = quick points!!!!

Regards...

Jamie

/var/log/vmware/

Also in the future if you need to find something and you know the name of the file or part of the name, you can always use the command find. This will only be applicable for classic ESX w/Service Console

[root@himalaya root]# find / -iname hostd*
