Virtual machine status while configuring HA on cluster

hi i using 3 esx host in my production environment. on top of that i m runnng 20 virtual machines. now we purchased

vcms license to manage all esx server in a singgle cluster with HA and DRS Feature.now concern is that when i configure HA/DRS on cluster do i need to shut down my all virtual machine then after i configure HA/drs or i can diretly add host in clusterand configure HA on cluster.

Yep, you can enable HA/DRS while the VM's are powered on, there is no need to power down the VM's.... The VM's will not notice...
