VCB and iSCSI

we have just recently moved from Fiber old san to new iSCSI. backups were done using VCB from the server that was fiber attached to SAN.

How do I accomplish this with iSCSI? do I install Microsoft iSCSI initiator and mask each LUN to that server?

Also, does any one knows where I can get Admin Guide for vcb? could not find it anywhere......

Installing the MS iSCSI initiator is the best way to connect VCB to your iSCSI storage. The setup for those connections can vary from one storage vendor to another. I would check with your iSCSI vendor and see if they have a best practices guide.

The VCB documentation is lumped in with the Infrastructure 3 documentation. This link should take you to the most applicable section on backup. This is another non VMware doc that is a bit more in depth, http://viops.vmware.com/home/docs/DOC-1392

Hope this helps.
