View Composer Enabled - False

Hi,

I got problem that after I installed View Composer on Virtual Center it still shows me View Composer Enabled - False. As you can see on attached picture I see this information when Im trying to add new Pool or individual Virtual Desktop. Version is VMware View 3.0.1 build-14203. I set View Composer service in Virtual Center machine to run under domain administrator account. License is OK.

Please could you post a screenshot of your View Composer configuration within the View Web administrator.

The View Composer should run with the local system account.

Thanks,

Christoph

Could anyone please tell me how to configure View Composer?

Hi there,

you've to install the Composer on the vCenter. The vCenter has to be version 2.5 U3 and the ESX 3.5 U3.

After that go to the View Administrator. Configue the vCenter and below that you'll find the option: Enable View Composer.

Thanks,

Christoph

In ViewManager config -- edit your settings for your VC and you can enable ViewComposer there.

Good day all,

View Composer is enabled on the View Server Configuration page, but when I go through the wizard of adding a desktop, It says View Composer is not enabled on the Virtual Center server. Screen shots attached.

Did you install View Composer on the Virtual Center server? If so, have you enabled it within View Admin?

Hello Community,

I´m facing a similar problem, and I don´t know what else to do.

I just can´t enable the composer, even with Domain Admin account, which should have all priviliges.

Maybe you can have a look at my attachments.

Our configuration:

vcenter 4.0

esx hosts: 4.0

Composer & Manager 4.5

Kind regards,

Florian
