Set virtual machine disk in Independent mode!

Hi.

We have a few servers with large secondary disks. We want to tape VCB backup of the system disk only. Is it possible to set the large disk in Independent mode?

Will the VM start normaly if I set it in independent mode?

Hello,

Yes that is possible... You would not be able to do any backups of the VMDKs just the traditional backup methods apply.
