What is the blue screen reporting?, or is it just a quick blue screen then restart?
You said you downloaded the VM from company site, how did you do the copy?, the file may be corrupt.
Are you both using the same VM player version?
The best bet for a remote copy would be to zip it up then transfer the data accross and check the archive integrity then uncompress and try the VM again.
Do you have workstation or server installed locally?, you could create a new VM and then attach the new VM to the current vmdk disk.

In fact, it's just a quick blue screen with a report (see attached print screen)
I made a windows copy of the VM's files without Zipped them. (the VM disk sized 15Go)
i don't know wich version of VM Player may colleague use. I will ask him monday morning.
I will try to create a new VM also.
