VirtualCenter 2.5 Database on Microsoft SQL Server 2008

Hi,

have anyone tried to run the VirtualCenter Database on MS SQL Server 2008?

Would the VC Database run in SQL 9.0 Compatibility Mode??

Not supported.

Tried it myself? No.

Would it be smart to do so? No.

god damned vc2.5. it does not support sql 2008

but vshpere 4.0 does support

it took me 1 hour to t-shoot the vc2.5 with sql 2008 but it alway reported no permission to ODBC DSN and not any info in the trace file of SQL, shit!
