Im so stuck!
can anyone help me please?!
for any suggestion please explain step-by-step so i can try them all.
Thanks!
Hello shinjenni,
When you installed VirtualCenter you should have installed a license server as well. You need to make sure that the License Server is using the appropriate License File by using VMware -> License Server Tools. There is a tab in there that lets you browse and choose a license file.
Don't forget to use the buttons on the side to award points if you found this useful (you'll get points too).

on top of hstagner's response, did you buy additional ESX cpu licenses to use on virtual center?
Thread moved to VI:Virtual Center 2.x forum.
Hello hstagner,
I've tried this already,
but it doesn't seem to save my changes...
it doesn't have save or apply button.. does it?
(also, my .lic file is set as open with notepad and this might be a problem..?)
yes, i have a new license right now..
Hello shinjenni,
There is a button in the License Server Tools to Re-Read the license file. Also, there should be a button to save License Server settings.
Don't forget to use the buttons on the side to award points if you found this useful (you'll get points too).
