How do I properly delete a virtual machine? Do I just trash the folder that's in my documnets>virtualmachines?
Yep, that's fine (of course, do this when Fusion isn't running; you never want to change data out from under a program). In Fusion 2.0, you can also select an entry in Fusion's Virtual Machine Library and press the delete key.
