It appears that I am having an issue with Dell Optiplex 755 + Windows XP
SP2 running in a VM with VMware Player 2.5 and getting an IP via DHCP
I have done extended tests and I can confirm that the same
VM running on another Dell workstation is getting the IP no problem.
What it is surprising me is the fact that I don´t have this
problem with an equivalent HP workstation and other Dell optiplex models.
There is also the problem of joining that VM into the domain
when using an IP giving by a DHCP server. The same VM on the same machine
configure with an IP fix has no problem.
Have anyone seem this error before?
Any ideas?
