I am having problems creating a virtual machine from a template because a permssion is assigned to it not allowing it. How do I remove this permission?
we need a little more information, in order to help you, what VMware product are you using, what version of Virtual Center, how are you passing sysprep details, traditionally via a setup.inf contained the template or with VC customisation tools, what user are you loging in on have you checked User Group membership for the logged on user.etc

We're using the ESX 3.5 and VirtualCenter 2.5. Sysprep is being used at the basic level no extra customization. Just the template that is within VC. When logging on as administrator I cannot disassociate a permission with a template so it's locked. Cannot deploy a VM from it nor can the template itself be converted into a VM.
I was able to resolve this issue on my own. Thanks

Removed all permissions to resolve the issue.
