I'm going to run one single application inside a VM, because this app only runs on WinNT4.
Now my users argue, whenever the press <Alt>-<Tab> it is executed inside the VM, but they want it to be executed on the host instead...
The result should look like a seamless application (running on the guest) but integrating in the normal Windows desktop.
I already managed to disable <Alt>-<Tab> inside the guest, but it would be great, if I could use an API-Call to release the keyboard hook from the guest or even to pass that key sequence over to the host!
Is this somehow possible???
Any help appreciated,
Sven
Hi Sven
Try "unity" feature presented in VMWare 6.5. It should solve user confuses.

Hi Alex,
thanks for pointing me to this!
( and of course to the developers for implementing this )
There's only left to mention, that the latest VMware tools are required at the guest system.
And if anyone knows: Is there an option to switch to "unity" mode after startup, when an application was auto-started?
Again, thanks for now!
Sven.
