Removing Extent

I have added extent to the existing storage , It is working fine, But now there is a scenario where I need to remove the extent alone from the Storage.

Can anyone help me out with the steps for removing the storage.

this isn't possible. only way to remove an extent is to move all the data of the vmfs volume, remove the volume completely and recreate the volume.

This is not the news you wanted to hear but there is no way to remove the extent from your VMFS partition without recreating the VMFS partitions.
