In ESX3.5 (not sure on ESXi) putty to the host and go to vmfs store and remove them.

"Remove VMs"? Delete virtual disks and other files?
You could use VIC and browse datastore, then delete files.
Now I see how to do it, right click on datastore and then Browse Datastore.
Thanks very much, now I cleaned up my datastore nicely!
