So I have an ESX server that is attached to our SAN. I have carved out three new luns (1,2,3) that have (1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB) respectively. I made LUN2(1.5TB) a VMFS Store with the max file size of 2TB (I know, I know). The other LUNS are viewable in the storage adapter screen and are presented properly. I am now trying to attach one of the other new LUNs to a VM using RDM. I am using SAN management software, so I need to have the RAW access. The problem is, the option for RDM is greyed out. I have tried everything I can think of, but I simply do not have the option for RDM.
