A colleague was running a VM that had an ISO file mounted from an SMB share that was running fine until it sufddenly powered off.  vmware.log shows the following error block repeated ad nauseum until the log got truncated

      Jul 02 15:51:05.805: vmx| VMXAIOMGR: Retry on read "/dev/cdrom" : Input/output error..

      Jul 02 15:51:05.805: vmx| VMXAIOMGR: system : err=1282 errCode=5 freeSpace=3113443328

      Jul 02 15:51:05.805: vmx| Msg_Question:

      Jul 02 15:51:05.805: vmx| http://msg.vmxaiomgr.retrycontabort.unknown Operation on file "/dev/cdrom" failed (Input/output error.).

Jul 02 15:51:05.805: vmx| Choose Retry to attempt the operation again. Choose Abort to terminate this session.

Jul 02 15:51:05.805: vmx| Choose Continue to forward the error to the guest operating system.----

Jul 02 15:51:05.805: vmx| MsgIsQuestionAnswered: Using builtin default 'Retry' as the answer for 'msg.vmxaiomgr.retrycontabort.unknown'

      Jul 02 15:51:05.805: vmx| Msg_Question: msg.vmxaiomgr.retrycontabort.unknown reply=0

How do I answer the question to make it stop retrying?
