Deploying from Template Keeps Template Disk

When I deploy from my Windows 2003 template in Virtual Center 2.5, the newly deployed machine lists the hard drive as the hard drive that was stored for the template. This makes the template no longer usable, at least until I move the drive back to the correct template directory. Any ideas?

So when you select the deploy virtual machine option form the drop down menu and you deploy the vm selecting the approriate data store - the vmdk of the template is moved to the new location? That is odd - are you sure you are not selecting the convert ot template option?

No, I'm not selecting that. To update my original post, I just deployed a new machine from that template without custom settings and it appears fine. It turns out, I only have this problem when I use a sysprep customization file.
