    Host name error message opening virtual machine

      When starting a virtual machine in VMware server I get the following error message

       

       

       

       

       

      Error opening the remote virtual machine XXX:8333\16   The host name could not be resolved.

       

       

       

       

       

      Any help would be appreciated

                What is XXX IP?  Put it in local hosts file on host OS.

                      Have you encountered any issues with the mouse not moving fully around the VM screen? mine fails from time to

                      time to get to the bottom of the screen which is annoying.

                        Do you have VMware Tools installed in your guest? Are they working properly?

                          The VM tools was loaded to the cd drive awaiting installation, now working fine
