I was wondering why you first need a RDM before you can use WWN's within a Virtual Machines (N-Port ID Virtualization).
When i use a RDM of 17GB, i only see a storage device of 4MB in the disk manager of my virtual machine..
Looks like you use the RDM as a VCMDB for your storage Array..
Can somebody explain a little bit more about the required RDM ?
