Upon booting a virtual machine (one that already has vmware tools installed) which has auto-fit Guest installed, why do I always have to hit the Fit Guest Now button?
Isn't there a way to force an autofit after boot-up?
Note this happens with all my windows guests as well as my Linux guests any time the vmware main window changes. Since I often work in full screen mode, but vmware defaultes to windowed mode when no virtual machines are started, it amounts to having to hit the Fit Guest Now option just about every time I boot a guest.
Resizing the Vmware window, or switching to full screen mode will resize the guest, but why doesn't autofit guest work initially?
Can this be scripted?
