Novell client fails to log in

when I install the VDM Agent on a VM, after the I get the desk top the novell login fails with an error message "the system could not log you in to the network. Make sure your name and connection information arte correct then type your password again"

the account settings for both AD and eDirectory are the same they are being synced with IDM.

Try to reinstall the Novell client on the VM. I have the similar issue and I believe it has to do with the Gina.

As long as the Novell Gina is the primary, you should not this issue.

I am getting the same thing now. I am running Monza (2.1 Beta). Didn't happen to me With 2.0

1) I've tried reinstalling Novell

and

2) I've messed with gina ordes in the winlogon key.

Nothing seemsto help yet.

VDM is not always the best choice for eDirectory environments, if this is still a trial, investigate other Brokers such as LeoStreams "Hosted Desktop Connection Broker" which has native NDS capability.
