I don't know if anybody else has tried following the Xtravirt guide to creating a VI3 infrastructure using VMware Workstation 6. I've been trying to create a cluster with VMotion enabled but I've run into a snag.
I've created an iSCSI target using OpenFiler and put the VMkernel port group for iSCSI traffic on my one and only vSwitch. Now I'm trying to add another port group for VMotion but I get a cryptic error saying that the port group already exists. I suspect that there may be a limit of one VMkernel port group per vSwitch but can't find any verification.
Has anybody else experienced this issue?
