Direct Access to Wireless Adapters???

Quick Question:

Although from within Workstation Guests I can Bridge to Wireless Networks to which the Host is already Connected, I seem UNable to have Direct Access to the Adapter as a Wireless Adapter... For purposes as Connecting/Disconnecting to WLANs from within the Workstation Guest or Measuring WiFi Signal Properties (or running Applications such as Netstumbler or Vistumber)!!! Just curious if the Workstation Guest can have direct access to Wireless Adapters???

You can have to Wireless adapters from inside a VMware Workstation guest OS if the adapter is a USB adapter and it's been connected to the guest (ie Wireless USB, 3G/UMTS USB Modem).

Workstation will not allow you to connect physical hardware in the PCMCIA/PCARD/ExpressCard slot to you're guest OS.

Regards,

Erik
