One handy bit of information that is missing is the login page. Not too hard to find - just quite a few permutations, so to save others time here it is: https://192.168.58.2:441/

Having a problem reaching the admin page. I have two virtual appliances, the smoothwall and a blank vmware image that loads a suse live cd iso that I was trying to use to connect to the smoothwall.

I've configured the live suse CD to have a static IP address of 192.168.58.100 and a SM of 255.255.255.0. The ethernet device for it in vmware is set to "bridged".

Any thoughts? Thank you very much

UPDATE

Figured it out, needed to changed the "GREEN" ipaddress in the smoothwall config to match an address my physical ethernet card was using. For example, if the network card on my desktop has a 10.0.0.100, you need to edit the config file for "GREEN" to be a "10.0.0.x" address also.
