Hi,
I'm having a problem with the Microsoft Script Debugger
launching when I try to do tasks like create a new virtual machine or
clone from a template. I can complete the tasks if I click No to running the debugger.
My environment is ESX 3.5, VC 2.5.
The client it's running on is XP with Service Pack 3 (beta) build 3244. (I live on the bleeding edge)
VirtualCenter has the Update Manager and VMware Converter Enterprise plugins installed.
I searched in the forums and on Google and found nothing.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
thanks, mike
I have the same issue, except the Just In Time debugger is opening for me. Wish I could be of more help, but I havn't pinned down exactly what is causing this behavior yet.
If I find something, I'l update ya.
You're right, it's the JIT script debugger...
Are
you running SP3?
Thanks
mike
Nope, SP2 here. I've got a laptop with almost an identical OS setup, and don't have the issue there.
Have you tried anything to see if you can isolate the problem? If I get some time tomorrow I'll dig into it and see what I can find.
Just to add to this I have the same problem too and am running XP SP2 as well. This has only started happening after we upgraded to ESX 3.5 & VC 2.5 and I installed the VC Client 2.5 on my machine.
