Get 'Boot Camp partition.vmwarevm damaged' Error message when tried to start Virtual machines in Fusion

I get below message when I tried to start Boot Camp in Virtual machines in Fusion.

Bundle "/Users/tonwong/Library/Application Support/VMware

Fusion/Virtual Machines/Boot Camp/%2Fdev%2Fdisk0/Boot Camp partition.vmwarevm" is

damaged and cannot be opened.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

My Macbook Pro is on Leopard and already been using Boot Camp running WinXP before I installed Fusion 1.1.

You can try deleting the "/Users/tonwong/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines/Boot Camp" folder.

Fusion will recreate it the next time it runs, and should be able to use the BootCamp partition again.

In my experience this results in a horrendous system freeze that requires a force reboot. Fusion has never been able to successfully recreated this folder and file - and, it's a consistent bug with my setup. Especially frustrating considering I recreated a 10GB partition, installed XP and appropriate Boot Camp drivers, AND a fresh install of the latest Fusion. Still no go.

Thanks!

That was exactly what I did and it is working beautifully now.
