An error occurred during configuration of the ha agent on the host

I just upgraded my VirtualCentre but get the error "An error occurred during configuration of the ha agent on the host" on both my ESX hosts.

Is there a way round this as I wanted to VMotion my Vms to one host then do the upgrade to 3.5 and then VMotion them back. However I can't as HA isn't working so it does not allow me too.

Disbale HA while you upgrade, its not used for VMotion anyway. I always disable it before applying patches etc.

Re-enable HA once all your hosts are upgraded and it should sort itself out again.
