I've just finished patching the last of my ESX3.0.2 server servers from build 3.0.2-5.x.x.x to 3.0.2-61618, on my last server I ran esxudpate update. The patch hung on stopping hostd - does anyone know what can be done halfway through a patch install if the script stops?
I'm still able to login to the SC
(getting some advice from the unix bods it should be possible to boot to a previous verison of the kernel but at the patch ive just run is not a kernel patch what is the best way to fix the problem ?)
