Unable to add ESX host to Virtual Center 202

I am unable to add ESX 301 to VC 202, giving error: Failed to install the VirtualCenter Agent service.

In many cases you'll get this error if the folder /tmp/vmware-root doesn't exist on the ESX host. If that's the case, then create it and try to add the host again.

In that case you can manualy install the agent on the host and try to join it again. Follow the steps on this post .
