Virtual Center on a VM

Is there any reason why a Virtual Center would not run on a VM? I have tried to install VC on my W2K3

Server VM and keep getting errors trying to start the Virtual Center.. The error message I get is attached.

VirtualCenter as a VM should work (in fact, it is supported).

If the VirtualCenter service won't start, test the ODBC connection.

Try putting a domain admin account for the VMware VirtualCenter service. This is usually the case if the service doesn't start. And putting VC as a vm does work but it is not the preferred method.
