We have some Dell R710's with iSCSI TOE installed.
How can I enable this on my iSCSI connections?
Should it be enabled on vSphere itself or on the individual VM's?
I've googled a ton without results.
iSCSI TOE is part of the NIC and automatically offloaded by the driver.

You need to turn it on in ESX. Also you have to use supported card.

The card is supported. How do I turn it on in ESX?
I assume it will also work for ESXi ?
I saw TOE mentioned in some command line arguements today for my vswitch config I was doing. However the syntax to turn TOE support on I can't find anywhere...
I just found this KB article...
Does this mean, no kernel level support for iSCSI TOE at the server level? According to the setup guide, if you are using certain compliant guest OS's you CAN enable some offload abilities in them if you use the enhanced network adapter...
Guessing there is no huge perfomance increase anyway with iSCSI TOE due to fast CPU's these days, but would be a nice feature...
