vDS and service console

I am moving to 10 GB interfaces in my rack mount server partly to reduce our cable foot print.  This involves consolidating diffrent traffic types accross the same wire.  once i moved my service console to the vDS from the ESXi host it is now showing one of the ISCSI storage IPs as the Host IP.  From vCenter all seems to work fine when connecting directly to the HOST from a console or out of band it will be a bit confusing for folks that may have to troubleshoot the host in the future.  Any ryhme or reason for the ESXi host to find its ip on the storage network once i migrated the service console to the vDS?

To make it clear, there is no services console port for ESXI, its Management port group.

So ISCSI IP will be on one port group (vmk) and management interface on one port group(vmk).

Name the port group as Storage ISCSI for ISCSI IPs and Management for management prot group.

Also register the management IP in DNS, so there shouldnt be any issue.
