i have 3 hosts, all have identical HW and configuration.
all network setting looking ok to me and working fine.
funny thing is if i create a guest from host3, guest traffic is not going out. i can ping to guest itself and host only.
if i relocate the guest to host1 then traffic can go out.
it's not problem of host3 because other guests working fine on host3.
this weird thing happens on every host.
any suggestion please.
Hi Alphait
Maybe the port on an external switch to where you've attached host 3 is not configured correctly? Mixup between portbased vlan and vlan-trunking is a common problem.

Could be a few things. Are you using dVswitches? and are you using Host profiles for the security config?
yes, I'm using dVswitches and host profiles.
physical connection looks ok. and i didn't set vlan.
Do you have the possibility to switch the connecting wires so that host1 and host3 are respectively moved to the other's previous connection? If so, you can see wether the problem stays with the host or with the switch connection.

I would do the above.
If the problem is still there then It could be the vNIC. Are you using VMXNET3 or E1000 adaptors?
Thanks
