comparison of performance between flexible and vmxnet3 nic

I have found performance comparisons between vmxnet2 and vmxnet3.

I have not been able to find any performance comparison between flexible and vmxnet3.

actually I was aware of the differences, but have not found any documentation on the performance differences between flexible and vmxnet3.

We have a number of machines that we p2v'd and they consistenly generate areound 600 mb/s on the gigabit network. I am curious to know if it would be worthwhile to upgrade the flexible adapter to vmxnet3. The stock answer is yes, it is faster, but my question is, how much faster?

These are redhat 5.x 32/64 machines.
