Virtual machine in the vSphere whether via virtual standard switch communication

    i have a idea ,  if  the vSphere host couldn't connect physics switch,  Whether there are  VMs inside to communicate ? please attend . thanks.

Virtual switches don't need a physical uplink and the VMs will be able to communicate with each other if they are using the same Port Group.
