Since this deals with networking I have moved it over to the vNetwork forum.    Can you clarify what exactly your question is?

Hello,

The maximum depends on the type of adapter in use. You may be able to use multiple types of adapters to gain more 10G ports. However the max total ports I believe is 32 ports.

If you have a 10G card, you cannot divide this card into 10 1G connections at least not directly. But you can have 10 VLANs each pushing 1gbps of data.

As Edward said, I believe 32 is the total NIC limit. Personally I have used upto 4 10GB nics + 6 1GB nics in a one physical server.
