VMotion and virtual network distributed switches

Hello Guys,

I am playing with VNDS and have found them very useful, however i do not seem to find the option to create a vnds for vmotion . do VNDS support vmotion distributed swithces?

as per http://www.alphacom.co.uk/assets/userfiles/documents/white_papers/vNetwork%20Distributed%20Switch%20... , they do, just not sure how to set it up.

you mean vmotion vmknic connected to vDS, right?

you can find the instructions in configuration guide http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vsphere4/r40/vsp_40_esx_server_config.pdf. Page 34 has detailed instructions for this. thanks
