Unable to enable this vNetwork Distributed Switch for Host Spanning

Hi All,

We are trying to create the Network Pool on the vCloud Director. Network Pool is based on "VCD network isolation-backed" type

But the pool creation is getting failed with following Error:

"Cannot create Network Pool.  Unable to enable this vNetwork Distributed Switch for Host Spanning"

I suppose there will be need of some configuration change in vNetwork Distributed Switch.

Any suggestion/hint/comment will be highly appreciated.

Ok Fine, I did some mistake in Host Configuration at Cloud Layer.

So once Host is correctly configured on VCD the Network pool creation was successful.

Hi

In my case the Host was not added properly in Cloud Director.

GOTO:

vCloud Admin -> Manage & Monitor -> vSphere Resources -> Hosts

and make sure that Host is enabled there.
