Possible to disable arp broadcast on vswitch

Hi would it be possible to disable arp broadcast on vswitch for ESX 4.1 with Vcentre 4.1

What kind of ARP broadcasts would like to disable? From the guests or something else?

You want to stop some or all guests from sending ARP request broadcasts? It will unfortunately not be possible from the vSwitch itself, it is just an quite plain layer two only device, with no frame filtering functionality.

Yes that would prevent the VMs for reaching the rest of the network. They would however be able to reach each other with broadcasts, inclucing ARP, while being on the same vSwitch.
