Network failover when multiple adapters fail.

I want to know if it's possible for a network to failover once more than 1 network adapter has failed.

Basically what I have is a dual 10Gb connection, but on my server I also have 4 1Gb adapters. For redundancy, I want to connect these 4 adapters, but only have the network failover to them if both 10Gb adapters fail. I can only see how to add them as standby adapters, but one will become active if a single 10Gb adapter fails, which isn't what I'm after.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

The standby vmnic will kick in if one of the active fails, and not if all active vmnics fail.

Use this uplink if one of the active physical adapter is down.
