NIC teaming in ESXi

I will install 5 ESXi 7. It will be the standard switch. I will use 2 x 10 GB ethernet cards for virtual machines. I couldn't decide whether I should do active-active or active-standby. What is the difference between ?

Also, I have another question? If I configure active-active, which ethernet card will be selected when I start the virtual machines. Will both nics be used?

The default policy is “Originating Virtual Port”
