Mixed Hardware and Distributed Switch VDS

Hello,

I have a cluster with varying hardware (rack mount servers), some DELL and some HP, with this comes a mixture in the number of physical network adapter each server has.

Obviously this situation is not ideal however if I was able to configure a VDS switch how would this work, for example creating a new port group am I able to select specific adapters from each host to join this PG?  I am used to working in environments with a standardised hardware so the same vNICs exist across all hosts.

Hi, the physical nics are abstracted by the Uplink Adapters‌, you assign physical nics to the uplink adapters and then use these adapters to setup your failover policies and so on.
