Hello,
I have a an iSCSI SAN with HP Procurve 2910al switches and a four node vSphere cluster.
I would like to configure link aggregation on a number of the ESX Port Groups to enable more bandwidth to the SAN and also to the Production LAN. This is something I have done numerous times using Cisco switches (typically 3750G stacks).
On Cisco, I do the following :
Make sure the switch stack load balance algorith is set to 'src-dst-ip'
Create a Port Channel Group using a port from each switch, and configure it for 'mode on' (static ether channel)
Connect my two uplinks from my vSwitch to the ports, and configure the Port Group load balancing algorith for 'Route based on IP hash'
Easy! Works like a charm.....
What I need to know is how to do the same config on Procure kit. I know LACP 802.3ad is not supported by ESX vSwitches, so how do I achive the same thing?
