We have a need to implement a small Microsoft NLB setup and came across KB 75217 (IGMP/MLD snooping when enabled makes Virtual IP in Microsoft NLB (Network Load Balancer) not reachab... . It states the Resolution is "NLB is not supported when IGMP/MLD snooping is enabled on VDS multicast filtering mode." and the Workaround to set the vDS Multicast filtering to "Basic".
I'm curious if this KB is still applicable. It doesn't say how old the KB is but Related Versions was vSphere 6.7. Wondering if MS NLB is supported with vDS IGMP enabled if the vDS is 7x or 8x?
