We've got an IBM chasis with 2 copper modules and 2 fiber modules. There are 2 HS22 blades installed and running ESXi 4.1. Each host only show 4 nics available. The total amount of physical port density on the back of the chasis is 16+. Is the amount of available NICs then relative to the bays on the chasis (or the blades somehow)? Struggling to see the point of so many physical ports but such a low number of available NICs.
