How to configure the interface of the virtual switch to trunk?(ESXi)

On ESXI, VLAN 101 and VLAN 4095 is configured under the virtual switch. The host under 101 cannot communicate with the host of 4095. Is there any way to configure the interface of the virtual switch to TRUNK ? Thank you!

Vlan 4095 is a specific reserved vlan, also worked as a trunk Vlan. If you want to send tagged traffic with vlan, don't use vlan 4095. Valn 4095 is used to send multiple vlan traffic.

If you want to use vlan 4095, then you have to tag your traffic on the VM/host itself.

VLAN ID 4095 is a special purpose VLAN ID. When configured it acts Like a trunk port for the vSwitch. When configured with a VLAN ID 4095, all packets from all the port groups are forwarded to this VLAN/ port group. When configured with VLAN ID 4095, No tagging would be done and no packets would be discarded.
