High NET I/O

I'm using vCenter Operations to monitor our environment.  We have 10GB backbone with Nexus 1000v Deployed,  for some reason NET I/O link get to 100% despite the fact we have 10GB bacbone and max we're using is 30MB.  Any ideas why my NET I/O is so high?

is VCOPS reporting 100% @ 30MB/s?

How long has vcops been running? If its pretty new, it probably sees the 30MB/s as its top number I would imagine over time it will trend out the numbers better... or so thats what I saw in our eval period of the product..
