Hello everyone,
With ESX, it's possible to create "Internal-only" vSwitch if we didn't bind any physical adapter to this vSwitch.
Does this works also with Distributed vSwitch ? Can we make "Internal-only" dvSwitch ?
Thanks for the help.
For each host associated with a vNetwork Distributed Switch, you must assign physical network adapters, or
uplinks, to the vNetwork Distributed Switch. You can assign one uplink on each host per uplink port on the
vNetwork Distributed Switch.
By the way. That do not make sense.

Yes you can have an internal only vSwitch with no uplinks.
For a dVS as below this would not make sense as you would have no data path between the switches on each host. dVS is a management abstraction to enable you to manage multiple vSwitches as if they were one.
