Change from Distributed to Standard switch

Hi,

Any guides to migrate from Distributed switch to Standard switch ? I have found many guides the other way, but not from distributed to standard

Problem is that the customer dont have license to use distributed, and the system is configured to use distributed now...

Hello, the process would be same just reversed, rather than creating vDS and moving one vmnic at a time.  Do the same, create a new set of standard vswitches, create all your port-groups, and move one vmnic and test connectivity, and migrate your vms and move remaining vmnics.

It can be moving easily with Migrate Virtual Machine Networking tool.

Steps listed below;

1- create new standard switch

2- define all port groups

3- remove 1 uplink from vds

3- add removed uplink to new created vSwitch

4- Use Migrate Virtual Machine Networking tool
